Original compositions and standards (only two actually) come together in a disk that creates a dreamlike atmosphere, somewhere between the first Weather Report and a British progressive rock with hints of Soft Machine, Pink Floyd. The swing is not, however, absent, or a romantic Chopinesque, quite touching. For its tenth anniversary, A Tree For Two been consistent and originality, and delivers a UFO jazz pastel colors perfect.
